Delores Katherine Bonogofsky, 75, died Friday, January 31, 2014, in Pampa. Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Bonogofsky was born October 13, 1938 in Solen, North Dakota. Delores had been a resident of Pampa since 2004 moving from Homer, Michigan. She married Tony Bonogofsky on July 21, 1955 in Mandan, North Dakota. Delores was a Catholic and a homemaker. She was an avid reader and loved to go to the casinos. She loved and took pride in her children and grandchildren. Delores was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Bonogofsky, and one sister, Eleanor Kurtz. Survivors include her husband, Tony; a daughter Pam Reed and husband Roger of Pampa; three sons, Tyrone Bonogofsky and Linda Gallop of Ferndale, Florida, Mark Bonogofsky and wife Traci of Homer, Michigan, and Brian Bonogofsky and wife Annette of Martin, Michigan; a sister, Leona MacDonald and husband John of Niagara, Wisconsin; two half-sisters, Vivian Holzer of North Dakota and Laura Markel of Texas; three half-brothers, Jr. Schantz, Irvin Schantz and Randy Schantz all of North Dakota; five grandchildren, Jaimie Peach and husband Te of Chester, Oklahoma, Travis Reed and wife Kristin of Odessa, Breanne Bonogofsky of Martin, Michigan, Chad Bonogofsky of Homer, Michigan, and Eric Hackworth of Traverse City, Michigan; three great-grandchildren, Maudie Peach and Quinn Peach both of Chester, Oklahoma, and Kingsley Reed of Odessa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
