Clifford Stephen Rose, 48, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, in Pampa. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 13, 2014 in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Pastor Kyle Ohsfeldt of Grace Baptist Church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Rose was born Dec. 7, 1965 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His family moved to Atlanta, Georgia when he was a young child, and he attended Roosevelt High School there. He later moved to Amarillo and then Pampa when he was a young adult. Clifford was a commercial truck driver who worked for Wasteco, among other companies. He enjoyed smoking food and was known to have the best smoked ribs in the world. Survivors include a son, Ronnie Rose and wife Gwen of Kersey, Colorado; two daughters, Cristie Eskew and husband Jason of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Kelly Rose of Riverdale, Georgia; two stepchildren, Kevin Terry of Kersey, Colorado and Destiny Terry of Pampa; two sisters, Ronda Fisher and husband Jerome of Federal Way, Washington, and Robin Rose; two brothers, Harold Anderson and wife Julie of Federal Way, Washington, and Mike McGuire; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
