Sandra Jean “Sandi” Tapp, 66, passed away February 4, 2014 in San Mateo, California. Memorial services will be at 12:30 PM, June 21, 2014, at the American Legion Lodge #185, 213 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana. Sandi was born April 28, 1947 in Wauseon, Ohio where she spent her early years. She moved to Patriot, Indiana where she was a 1965 graduate of Patriot High School. She was a former resident of Vevay, where she was co-owner of the Vevay Package Store before moving to Arizona. She had been a resident in Arizona for approximately six years before moving to San Carlos. Sandi had been a resident of San Carlos for the past thirty years. She was a Buyer/Expediter for Ravenswood City School District in East Palo Alto, California for nine years, and had been a bartender at the Orchid Room in San Carlos for the past ten years. Sandi was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, Ohio State Buckeye fan and a member of the American Legion Lodge #585 in San Carlos. Sandi was preceded in death by her parents; Ralph Peebles Sr. in 1996 and Pauline Peebles in 1997. Survivors include her companion Bruce Lorenz of the home; two sons, Randy Tapp and wife Barrie of Amarillo, and Rusty Tapp and wife Michelle of Pampa; a daughter, Robin Williams of Houston; a brother, Ralph Peebles, Jr. and wife Donna of Tonopah, Nevada; five sisters, Carol Mang and husband Berry of Covington, Kentucky, Brenda Maag and husband Paul of Leipsic, Ohio, Sara Blades and husband Hubert of Greensboro, Maryland, Jayne Trapp and husband Rex of Ripley, Ohio, and Teresa Jester of Madison, Indiana; seven grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
