Sylvia Flores

Sylvia Flores, 58, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, in Amarillo. Vigil will be at 5:30 PM Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel. Mass will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Sylvia was born Dec. 6, 1955 in Stamford, Texas. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1962. She worked as a teacher’s aide at Lamar Elementary School for 15 years. She was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Survivors include three daughters, Veronica Santacruz of San Antonio, Yesenia Flores and Mikaela Flores, both of Pampa; a son, Miguel Flores of Pampa; two sisters, Yolanda Dominguez and Dolores Arreola, both of Pampa; two brothers, Salvador Dominguez, Jr. and Juan Dominguez, both of Pampa; and six grandchildren.
