Jorge Alberto Avalos Granados

Jorge Alberto Avalos Granados, 23, died February 25, 2014 in Roberts County. Vigil services will be a 5:30 PM Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Jorge's residence at 2125 N. Zimmers. Mass will be at 10:00 AM Friday, February 28, 2014, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Jorge was born November 8, 1990 in Cuidad Juarez, Mexico. He had been a resident of Pampa for the past five years. He married Berenice Romo on September 22, 2012 in Pampa. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Jorge was a floor hand for Trinidad Drilling Company. Survivors include his wife, Berenice Avalos of the home; a son, Fernando Avalos of the home; his parents, Adalberto and Fabiola Avalos of Pampa, two sisters, Alejandra Avalos and Sophi Avalos, both of Pampa; his grandparents, Angel Rafael Granados, Fabiola Calderon, and Evangelina Lucero, all of Cuidad Juarez, Mexico.
