Wilma Ann Wardlow

December 29, 1924 — March 4, 2014

Granbury, Texas Wilma Ann Wardlow, 89, passed away Tuesday, Mar. 4, 2014, in Granbury. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 8, 2014, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Rev. Barry Owens, associate pastor of First Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Pampa under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Wardlow was born Dec. 29, 1924, in Post, Texas, to E.V. Dooley and Carah Ann Redmond Dooley. She married Wendell Curtis Wardlow, Nov. 13, 1944, in Plainview, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pampa and attended Stonewater Church in Granbury. Wilma loved to travel, especially in the mountains. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to horse races, but shopping was her real hobby. Survivors include her husband, Wendell Wardlow; children, Stan Wardlow, Rick Wardlow and wife, Teresa, Michelle Wardlow-Rivera and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Tavela Norris, Amy and Luke Morton, Amanda and Chris Wilson, Paydon and Raychel Ramirez, Falon Ramirez; great grandchildren, Kobe, Brenna, Tia, Mia, Haven, Ella, Ethan, Xaylei, Paydon Jr., Brinley, Macey, Isaiah; great great grandchildren, Jade and Lane. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home in Pampa.
