Carolyn Horne

Carolyn Horne, 72, went to be with her Heavenly Father Tuesday, April, 1, 2014, in Pampa.  Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, April 4, 2014, at Central Baptist Church with Pastor Worley Kennedy, of Faith Bible Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.  Mrs. Horne was born November 30, 1941 in Big Spring. Carolyn married Dr. William “Bill” Horne on June 13, 1964 in Big Spring. She has been a resident of Pampa since 1971. Carolyn was a member of Faith Bible Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rubert and Clara Halbrook and a grandson, Blake Anderson Imel. Survivors include her husband, Dr. William “Bill” Horne of the home; 2 daughters, Laura Green and husband Guy of Pampa and Marci Imel of Amarillo; a sister-in-law, Anita Vaughn and husband Don of Big Spring; four grandchildren, Eden Fowler and husband Dan, Jacob Green and Jordan Green all of Pampa, Hailey Diamond and husband Michael and Tucker Imel all of Amarillo; 4 great-grandchildren, Cayla Diamond, Trae Diamond and Devari Diamond all of Amarillo and Clara Fowler of Pampa, and adopted by heart, Kelly Ferguson and husband Dan of Lubbock; The family would like to thank Deborah Ferrell and the staff at Interim Hospice for their loving care.   Memorials may be made to The Hope and Healing Place, 1721 S.
