Nancy Ruth Harl Thomas, 80, died April 15, 2014 in Pampa. Memorial graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Mount Olive Cemetery, north of Fargo, Oklahoma, with Rev. Phillip Davis, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Fort Supply, Oklahoma, officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Thomas was born April 3, 1934 in Springfield, Missouri. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1972. She married Charley A. Thomas on July 31, 1953 in Fort Supply, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 2007. Nancy was a Methodist. She loved to sew and quilt, and she enjoyed traveling to the mountains with Charley. Nancy was preceded in death by three half-brothers; and a grandson, Jason Vaughn. Survivors include a son, Charley Frank Thomas and wife Cathy of Pampa; a daughter: Pamela Thomas of Amarillo; a grandson, Justin Thomas and wife Casey of Pampa; four granddaughters, Elizabeth Thomas, Hilary Thomas, Amber Vaughn, and Emily Bustos, all of Amarillo, several great-grandchildren; and her brother-in-law, Hal Thomas of Woodward, Oklahoma.The family wants to offer a special thanks to Interim Hospice and Jordan Douglas for their loving care.
