Michael K. Gage

Michael K. Gage, 53, of Canyon, died April 6, 2014 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ in Pampa, with Glen Walton, associate minister of San Jacinto Church of Christ in Amarillo, officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Gage was born June 29, 1960 in Amarillo. He was a former resident of Pampa, graduating from Pampa High School in 1978. Michael attended Eastern New Mexico University where he studied drama. He had been a resident of Canyon for the past several years. Michael worked for Sonic Drive In in Raton, New Mexico, Bosque Farms, New Mexico, Canyon and Hereford for 34 years, retiring in 2009. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Roena Gage. Survivors include an uncle, Paul Gage of Hemet, California; an aunt, Doris Gage of Garland; and numerous cousins in Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia and California.
