Jane “Baby Jane” Kane Dedrick, 41, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, in Pampa. Memorial services will be at 4:00 PM Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Bishop Bryan Guymon, officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Dedrick was born Feb. 21, 1973 in Groom to Ernest and Susan Kane. She attended Pampa schools, graduating from Pampa High School in 1991. She married Steven Dedrick in 1992, and he preceded her in death in 2000. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Jane worked for the Pizza Hut for several years. In her spare time, she liked to play slot machines and spend time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Survivors include her fiancé, Jerry Little of the home; a son, Anthony Dedrick of Pampa; 3 daughters, Kayla Dedrick of Elk City, OK, Amber Dedrick of Pampa, and Kimberley Carter of Holdenville, OK; her mother, Susan Kane of Pampa; a sister, Donna Kane of Pampa; 5 brothers, Jerry Kane and wife Hannah, Charles Kane and wife Kathy, and John Kane, all of Pampa; James Kane and wife Ranea of White Deer; and Leonard Kane of Fort Stockton; a sister-in-law, Gina Kane of Pampa; and by 5 grandchildren. Jane was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Kane, and by a grandson, Ernest Travis, III. The body will lie in state at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home until noon on Friday, April 25, 2014.
