Gary Curtis Moore

Gary Curtis Moore, 68, of Amarillo, died April 30, 2014 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, May 2, 2014, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Pastor Paul Nachtigall of Highland Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. Moore was born October 1, 1945 in Pampa where he attended Pampa schools. He had been a resident of Amarillo since 1985. Although he was disabled, Gary strived to be independent, and he enjoyed working, shredding papers and packaging for ASCI. Survivors include a cousin, Laverna Huneycutt of Cherryvale, Kansas, and his special friend and advocate, Carla Dugger of Amarillo.
