Betty Irene Alexander

Betty Irene Alexander, 82, died Sunday, May 4, 2014, in Pampa. Services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Thacker Haynes, pastor of the United Methodist Church of McLean, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Alexander was born March 10, 1932 in Colcord, Oklahoma to Carl Cecil and Veta Mae Shipman Thompson. She owned Little Betty’s Lounge in Pampa and was also a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Alexander, in 2005, a daughter, Hope Alexander, in 1969, and a brother, Carl Eugene Thompson. Survivors include 3 sons, Gary Lee Burget of Oklahoma City, OK, Terry Gene Burget of Van Nuys, CA, and Les Alexander of Pampa; and by a granddaughter, Natasha Martinez of Henderson, Nevada.
