Ronald W. "Chub" Sinyard

February 22, 1962 — May 11, 2014

Ronald W. “Chub” Sinyard, 52, died May 11, 2014 in Pampa. Services will be a 2:00 PM Thursday, May 15, 2014, at the Carpenter’s Church, with Rev. Fred Palmer, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Sinyard was born February 22, 1962 in Albany, Georgia. As a young boy, he moved to Groom where he was reared and attended school. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U. S. Navy. After his honorable discharge, he moved to Pampa where he managed Danny’s Market. Later, he was employed by National Oilwell Varco for over twenty years. Ronald married Nancy Loner on March 31, 2002 in Pampa. He was proud to be an ordained minister. He volunteered with the Special Olympics and in his spare time, he enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Sinyard of the home; three daughters, Cindy Loner, and Anna Loner and partner Shannon Andrew, all of Pampa; and Marcia Loner and partner Robert Cooling of Powder Springs, Georgia; a son, Jeremy Loner of Pampa; two brothers, Jim Sinyard and wife Susan, and Greg Sinyard and wife Candace, all of Pampa; three granddaughters, Hope Loner, Mallory Loner and Erica Andrew, all of Pampa; and two grandsons, Nathan Loner and Derek Andrew, both of Pampa. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Margie Sinyard; and a sister, Teresa Sinyard. Memorials may be made to Pampa Sheltered Workshop, P.O. Box 2808, Pampa, Texas 79066-2808, or Pampa Special Olympics, P.O. Box 375, Pampa, Texas 79066-0375. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 PM Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home.
