Catherine Ann Langford, 83, died May 19, 2014 in Pampa. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, May 23, 2014, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. John Glover, associate pastor of Field Street Baptist Church of Cleburne, officiating. Private burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Langford was born November 16, 1930 in Skellytown. She had been a lifelong resident of Pampa, graduating from Pampa High School in 1949. She married Scott Langford on December 26, 1954 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1990. Catherine was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church where she taught Children’s Sunday school for many years. Survivors include three sons, Mark Langford and wife Sandra, Dale Langford and wife Stephanie, all of Pampa, and Guy Langford and wife Jami of Gardendale; a sister, Betty Lou Schaffer and husband James of Pampa; twelve grandchildren, Lindsay Spearman and husband Jared of Katy, Lauryn Langford of Amarillo, Logan Langford of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Sarah Nichole Langford, Scott Langford and wife Sarah, all of Plainview, Nathan Langford, Aaron Langford and Benjamin Langford, all of Pampa, Sarah Kate Dufford and husband Neil of Fairfax, Virginia, and Addie Langford, Sydney Langford and Weston Langford, all of Gardendale; and five great-grandchildren.
