Agnes Optia Craig, 99, died June 18, 2014 in Borger. Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Barry Owens, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:30 PM Saturday, at Tell Baptist Cemetery in Tell, Texas, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Craig was born March 7, 1915 in Garland, Oklahoma. She was married by her father, Rev. C. C. Warford, to Norman Wallace Craig on December 3, 1932 in Lefors. He preceded her in death on January 27, 1983. She came to Pampa in 1946, moving from Tell, Texas. She moved to Iraan, Texas in 1950, returning to Pampa in 1984. Agnes was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Sonshiner’s Club. She was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers, and her parents. Survivors include a sister, Lorene Husmann of Springfield, Missouri; two brothers, David C. Warford of Springfield, Missouri, and Fred Warford of Muskogee, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 621, Pampa, Texas 79066-0621.
