Tommy Lee Swindle, 62, died June 20, 2014 in Pampa. There are no services scheduled. At his request, Mr. Swindle’s body was donated to Texas Tech School of Medicine. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Swindle was born September 19, 1951 in Wichita Falls to Tommie Dene and Janie Burns Swindle. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1952 and he was a 1970 graduate of Pampa High School. He worked at the Dr. Pepper plant, Glo-Valve and the Pampa Landfill for the past ten years. He was a member of Top O’ Texas Masonic Lodge #1381. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Phyllis Fleetwood; a nephew, Joshua Swindle; an uncle, Clarence Swindle; and three aunts, Iva Wildcat, Floy Graham and Juanita Curtin. Survivors include a son, Chris Swindle of Pampa; a daughter, Stacy Picard and husband Cody of Castle Rock, Colorado; his mother, Janie Swindle of Pampa; a brother, Donald Swindle and wife Sherry of Hope, Arkansas; a niece, Ashley Swindle of Pampa; two nephews, Jackie Fleetwood of Round Rock and Travis Swindle of Utah; a cousin, Valarie Conrad of Pampa; a brother-in-law, Charles Fleetwood of Pampa; an aunt, Freda Lankford of Pampa; and an uncle, William Wildcat of Pampa. Memorials may be made to the Top O’ Texas Masonic Lodge.
