He was perceived by many as a person with many talents. The Lord has taken Andy for his own, but his memory remains eternal in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Floye Gay Crites Christensen, a sister and a stepbrother. Survivors include two sons, Ted Christensen of Luling, and Larry Christensen and wife Valerie of Oregon, Ohio; a daughter, Connie Kettinger of Amarillo; two stepdaughters, Nancy Crites of Panhandle, and Karen Smith and husband Jim of Buena Vista, Colorado, a stepson, Wes Crites and wife Sheila of Shamrock; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The Angels came and said it was time; Don’t worry Dad, we will be fine. You have taught us well and did your best: Now it is time for you to rest. It broke our hearts to lose you But you did not go alone. For a part of us went with you The day God called you home.
