James Everett “Jim” Golleher, 73, of Pampa, died July 20, 2014 in Pampa. A private family inurnment will be held. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Golleher was born June 26, 1941 in Canadian. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1965. He married Ruth Clark on July 10, 1965 in Pampa. Jim retired in 1993 from Givens Well Service due to a disability. During the 2006 wildfires, he was proud to have cooked barbeque for the firefighters. Jim was a Church of Christ. Before going into the oil business, his energy and time was in being a cowboy and being with horses. He was preceded in death by a brother, Don Golleher in 1961; and a sister, Velma Hornburger in 2013. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Golleher of the home; a son, Dennis Golleher of Pampa; a daughter, Jamie Golleher of Pampa; two brothers, Joe Golleher of Hearne, and Johnny Golleher of Sherman; and three grandchildren, Larri Golleher and Kade Golleher, both of Duncan, Oklahoma, and Carolyn Golleher of Pampa.
