Jerry Dee Quarles, 74, of Stinnett, died Saturday, August 23, 2014, in Amarillo. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Rick Pearson, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors in Pampa. Mr. Quarles was born October 24, 1939 in McLean. He was a resident of Stinnett for 13 years, moving from Pampa. Jerry married Mary Parks on April 18, 1995 in Pampa. He retired from NTS in 2005. Jerry loved going fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Bonnie Quarles. Survivors include his wife, Mary Quarles of the home; three sons, Tim Quarles and wife DeAnna of Wheeler, Erick Quarles and wife Jonita of Springtown and Rodney Parks and wife Betsy of Borger; two daughters, Gail Webb and husband Don of White Deer and Debbie Parks of Colorado Springs; a brother, Rick Quarles of Pampa; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
