William John “Will” Vise, 29, of Amarillo, died Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, in Moore County. Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, at First Baptist Church in Pampa with Rev. Byron Williamson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Pampa under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Will was born Sept. 23, 1984 in Pampa and was a 2003 graduate of Pampa High School. Upon graduation, he joined the U. S. Navy where he was a hospital corpsman. He then attended Clarendon College Pampa Center where he received an associate degree. Will married Amberlynn Christopher on Oct. 25, 2012 in Canyon. At the time of his death, he was a life insurance agent. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pampa, and he was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Will was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John C. and Rosemary Vise, his stepmother, Jo Lynn Vise, his great grandmother, Mary Finsterwald, and by two uncles, Johnny Lynn Vise and Gary Robert Vise. He is survived by his wife, Amberlynn Vise, of the home; a stepson, Jason Christopher of the home; his parents, Brooke and Lance DeFever of Pampa and Kent and Sonya Vise of Canyon; his grandparents, John Lee and Anita Bell and Jane Adams, all of Pampa, and Rodney DeFever of Horseshoe Bay; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sam Becerra and Lori Brown, both of Orange County, California; a brother, Ethan DeFever of Pampa; a sister, Madison Vise of Canyon; four stepbrothers, Reed DeFever of Dallas, Spencer DeFever of McKinney, and Kelby Imel and Reece McElroy, both of Lubbock; aunts and uncles including, Brenda Brown, of Amarillo, Bret and Cathey Bell of Pampa, and James and Donna Vise, of Wheeler; and by a niece, a nephew, and several cousins.
