Earlene Louise Jackson, 77, of Pampa, died September 15, 2014 in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, with Eugene Brown, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Jackson was born on January 2, 1937 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Malinda Jackson and Earlie Jackson. She pursued a career in beauty school, graduating on November 16, 1956 from Bearon Light Beauty College in Texarkana, Arkansas. Her interests included her family, sewing and reading. Earlene devoted her time and energy as a caregiver to family members. Her charms and smiles were enlightening at any given moment. She was a beautiful, loving and kind person whom we all loved, and will dearly miss, as she goes to her family in heaven. We will remember and cherish the moments we had with her. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanette Coleman; and three brothers, Herdis Jackson, James Jackson, and Chester Jackson. She survived by her son George Jackson; two brothers, Ozzie Jackson and Earlie Jackson; three sisters, Mable Jackson, Clara Tucker, and Gladys Ward; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.
