Patsy L. “Patty” Shoemaker, 71, of Pampa, passed away on October 15, 2014 in Pampa. Mrs. Shoemaker’s body was donated to Texas Tech School of Medicine in accordance to her final wishes. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Patty was born on November 7, 1942 in Mexia. She was raised in the Dallas area. She was a cosmetologist for many years and she owned her own salon in Brazoria County. Patty will be remembered as a creative, fun loving, and generous person who always put others before herself. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Patty was preceded in death by her parents and by two sons, William Chance Olsen and William Christopher Olsen. Survivors include two daughters, Kim Svoboda of Angleton and Heather Brown and husband Brian of Perryton; three granddaughters, Stephanie Dobson and husband Andy of Angleton, Chynna Jones of Dallas, and Regan Jones of Perryton; two grandsons, Jordan Svoboda of Angleton and Michael Jones of Perryton, and by a great-grandson, Bentley Wayman of Dallas; and a special cousin, Clemey Mason, of Gun Barrel City.
