Lynda Stroud Bruce

Lynda Stroud Bruce, 53, of Pampa, died Saturday, October 25, 2014, in Pampa. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014, at Trinity Fellowship Church with Rev. Lonny Robbins, former pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Bruce was born April 26, 1961 in Borger. She was a lifelong resident of Pampa and was a 1979 graduate of Pampa High School. Lynda married Vance Bruce on Oct. 21, 1978 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 2000. Lynda received her cosmetology certification from Exposito School of Hair Design and later received an associate’s degree in science from Clarendon College in December of 2012. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. Lynda is survived by two sons, Ryan Bruce and wife Tracy and Christian Bruce and wife Bobbi, all of Pampa; her parents, Ed and Carolyn Stroud of Pampa; her father-in-law, Jerry Bruce, of Pampa; and seven grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Barbara Bruce, in 2008. Memorials may be made to Harvest House, P. O. Box 2929, Pampa, TX 79066-2929.
