Jody Richardson, 56, of Gray County, died October 30, 2014 at her home in Gray County. Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, November 3, 2014, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Jim Yates, Interim Hospice chaplain, officiating. Burial will follow in Jericho Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Jody was born on December 17, 1957 in Fairfax, Oklahoma to Kenneth and Jackie Freeman. She moved to Pampa in 1962. She graduated Pampa High School in 1976. She had been a lifelong resident of the Pampa, Miami and Groom areas. She married Joe Richardson on January 16, 1976. They raised three children Joe Rae, Julie and Jacey. She loved riding her horses and watching her kids and grandchildren rodeo. She was a talented seamstress and loved taking care of her animals and gardening. She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Freeman; her mother, Jackie Rennie; her brother, Todd Freeman; and her niece, Jordan Freeman. Survivors include her husband, Joe Richardson; her children, Joe Rae Richardson, Julie Britten and Jacey Richardson; her sister, Kelly Packard, and her four grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Mallie Williams, Emily and Brent Britten and Callie Richardson.
