Leeona Line

Leeona Line, 93, of Pampa, died November 4, 2014 in Pampa. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors, with Pastor Kyle Ohsfeldt of Grace Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Line was born March 1, 1921 in Fame, Oklahoma. As a young girl, her family traveled extensively through her father’s profession, living in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas. She had been a resident of Lefors since 1934. She married Isaac Frank Line on August 8, 1940 in Sayre, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on September 19, 2001. Leeona was a member of First Baptist Church of Lefors. She was a wonderful homemaker who was a great cook and fantastic seamstress who made clothing for many people in the Gray County area. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Leeona was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Rena Tracy Libby; a daughter, Phyllis Risser; two sisters and two brothers. Survivors include her son, Ron Line and wife Rondi of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Tralee Crisis Center, P.O.
