Janet Lynn “Sissy” Williams, 60, of Pampa, died Saturday, November 15, 2014, in Pampa. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Fairview Cemetery, with Eugene Brown, elder of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Williams was born on Jan. 15, 1954 in Pampa. She was a lifelong resident of Pampa and attended Pampa schools. As a young girl, she worked for her father at his Minit-Mart convenience store and she also helped at the GT Mart. Janet was a compassionate lady who liked to help people when she worked as a nurses’ aide at the Pampa Nursing Home and with people through home health care. Janet’s greatest joy was to be with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sissy will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include two sons, Joey Slagle and wife Michele of Pampa and Jeremy Teakell of Fort Worth; a daughter, Jennifer Slagle and fiancé Troyce Brewer of Pampa; six grandsons, Timmy Remington, Jarren Slagle, James Remington, Caleb Teakell, Jacob Teakell, and Jeremy Teakell, Jr., all of Pampa; two granddaughters, Jaylee Remington of Arkansas City, Kansas and Jaslynn Slagle of Pampa. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Dixie Feazel, her husband, Randall Williams, a sister, Susan Feazel, and a nephew, Jason Teakell.
