Patricia Ann “Pat” Britton, 77, of Pampa, died November 24, 2014 in Pampa. Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, November 28, 2014, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Pastor Ken Branum, Accolade Hospice chaplain, and Clay Britton, her grandson, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Britton was born January 7, 1937 in Asher, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1940. Pat married Rex Britton on December 27, 1952 in Pampa. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Imogene Brown; two brothers, James Brown and Billy Brown; sister, Teddy Pyron; a son, Randall Britton; and a daughter, Sandra Rogers. Survivors include her husband, Rex Britton of the home; two daughters, Pam Bowers and husband Tommy, and Shelly Villarreal, all of Pampa; six grandsons, Jeff Cloud and wife Katy of Lubbock, Ryan Cloud and wife Holly of Pampa, Clay Britton of Nashville, Tennessee, Brad Britton and wife Sarah of Amarillo, and Tommy Joe Bowers and John Lynn Bowers, both of Dallas; two granddaughters, Brandi Allen and husband Bo of Woodward, Oklahoma, and Stephanie Hext of Pampa; and seven great-grandchildren.
