Gerald E. Moore, 66, of Pampa, died December 2, 2014 in Pampa. There are no services scheduled. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Moore was born June 9, 1948 in Pampa, where he was a lifelong resident. He married Sonja Diane Bridge on March 16, 1979 in Denmark, Germany. She preceded him in death on November 23, 2014. Gerald was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in Vietnam, as a crew chief on a Huey helicopter, with the Americal Division, serving two tours. He was involved in the Maryland flood recovery in 1972, and then served in Korea and Germany, retiring in 1990. Gerald was a loving husband and a great dad. Survivors include his daughter, Nicola Berry and husband Johnny of the home; his son, David J. Bridge of Pampa; seven grandchildren, Nikala Swift, Carlee Swift, and Nash Moore, all of Pampa, Michael Berry, Jared Berry, Ryan Berry and Ethan Berry, all of Garden City, Kansas; and a sister, Charlotte Walker Ashley of Lubbock.
