Rae Jeane Pinckney Bratcher, 88, of Pampa, died December 8, 2014 in Pampa. Rosary will be at 6:00 PM Thursday, December 11, 2014, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Christopher Schwind, parochial vicar of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, officiating, and funeral mass will be at 11:00 AM Friday, December 12, 2014, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. John Valdez, pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Amarllo, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Bratcher was born May 28, 1926 in Mission City, Nebraska. She married Billy James Bratcher on August 22, 1949. He preceded her in death on July 30, 1988. Jeane had been a resident of Pampa since 1957, and had been a hospice volunteer for 18 years. She was a very active member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Her love of the Lord was evident in her service to the church, and the love she poured out to her friends. Survivors include two nieces, Sharla Bratcher Tauzin and John Calvert of Plano, and Cindy Bratcher Rainey and husband James of Picayune, Mississippi; two nephews, Wayne Bratcher and wife Barbara of Rockwall, and David Bratcher; four great-nieces and great-nephews, Amy Cagnolati, Tony Cagnolati, Traci Tauzin Houpt, and Tami Tauzin Cook; and special friend, Chrys Smith of Pampa.
