Will Lacy, 68, of Amarillo, died December 12, 2014 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Washington Avenue Christian Church with Clint Shelton, officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Lacy was born on July 13, 1946 in Altoga. As a young boy, he moved to Amarillo where he attended Amarillo schools and graduated from Tascosa High School. After graduating, Mr. Lacy enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Concluding his discharge, Will started work as an electrician apprentice and then later as licensed electrician. Mr. Lacy was a proud member of The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Chapter 602 for over 44 years. Mr. Lacy will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his union brotherhood. Survivors include his wife Elaine Lacy of the home; a son, Alex Lacy and wife Lizzi Ready of Ponca City, Oklahoma; a daughter, Megan Holland-Compton of Amarillo; 4 grandsons, Greyson Lacy and Jackson Lacy both of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Andrew Holland and Michael Bevins both of Amarillo and other extended family.
