Helen W. Philpott, 99, of Pampa, died December 17, 2014 in Pampa. Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Lewis Holland, pastor of St. Paul United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Helen was born May 21, 1915 in Henrietta, Texas to W. B. and Mary Walker. She came to Miami in 1925 from Henrietta. She married Kint Philpott on April 4, 1931 in Erick, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2011. Helen and Kint farmed in the Miami and Pampa areas for many years before moving to Pampa in 1981. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Miami, the Pampa Senior Citizens Center, and was a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mildred Cunningham, Dortha Airhart and Catherine Fazzi; an infant daughter, Virginia Ann; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Philpott; a granddaughter, Lynn Wright; and a great-grandson, Jason Wright. Survivors include two sons, Don Philpott of Miami and Marvin Philpott and wife Shirley of Delaware, Ohio; five grandchildren, Janice Monds and husband Benny and Ann Pigdon and husband Bryan, all of Pampa, Sharon Wright of Miami, John Philpott and companion Kim Cobler of San Angelo, and Shanna Heilveil and husband Ben of Baltimore, Maryland; nine great-grandchildren, Kevin Monds, Joel Monds, Scott Monds and wife Wendy, Cliff Bryant, Nick Bryant and wife Katja, Angela Wright, Erin Heilveil, Noah Heilveil, and Megan Heilveil; and 16 great-great grandchildren.
