Alan Dallas, 50, of Pampa, died December 23, 2014 in Pampa. Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 27, 2014, at First Baptist Church, with Rev. Barry Owens, associate pastor, officiating. Cremation will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Dallas was born August 24, 1964 in Clovis, New Mexico. He had been a lifelong resident of Pampa, graduating from Pampa High School in 1982. He married Tamilan Gowin on August 22, 1986 in Pampa. Alan was an operator for Cabot Carbon Black Plant for 23 years, retiring in 2014. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time at his ranch, and playing video games with his grandsons. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Adams Dallas in 2007. Survivors include his wife, Tamilan Dallas of the home; three daughters, Alisha Dallas and husband Andy Sevordzi, Adeena Dallas and fiancé JP Richey, and Arin Dallas and Christopher Smith, all of Pampa; his father, Kevo “Earl” Dallas of Pampa; two brothers, Butch Dallas and wife Sheila of Pampa, and Charles Dallas and wife Sherry of Dayton; a sister, Pamela Phelps and husband Paul of Pampa; 3 grandchildren, Daxton Dallas, Azdyn Dallas, and one-on-the-way, all of Pampa; numerous nieces and nephews, including Cory Dallas, Jonathan Olson, Dakota Gowin, Christopher Gowin and Braden Gowin, all of Pampa, Chris Johnson of Houston, Keva Dallas of Tallahassee, Florida, Alex Dallas and Lexi Dallas, both of Dayton, RC Spiller and wife Cindy of Midland, and Mecca Dodd of Lubbock; and his mother-in-law, Rose Ann Gowin of Pampa. Memorials may be made to M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, 1515 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, Texas 77030. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, December 26, 2014, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home.
