Alvin Wayne “Fuzzy” Alexander, 76, of Pampa, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Monday, Jan. 12, 2015 in Pampa. Celebration of life services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015, at Briarwood Church with Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Alvin was born Aug. 12, 1938 to Holmes “Blocker” and Sally Alexander in Olney, Texas. He married the love of his life, Cherry Lynn Graham, on June 11, 1960, in Graham, Texas. He had a lifelong career in the oil and gas industry. A child of the most High God, Alvin was a member of Briarwood Church in Pampa. Alvin was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and great grandpa. He was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers, Calvin, Jack, Cletus, and and Glen Alexander. Survivors include his wife, Cherry, of the home; two sons, Steven Wayne Alexander and wife Vigdis of Pampa and David Scott Alexander and wife Kathy of Warsaw, Missouri; a daughter, Terri Lynn Powell and husband Edward of Amarillo; ten grandchildren, Cheryl Wilson and husband Lee and Tyler Alexander, all of Casper, Wyoming; Cassie Solis and Cody Newton, both of Pampa; Anthony Alexander of Missouri; Nick Alexander and wife Katie of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; Torri Nobo and husband Pete of Lawrence, Kansas; Michael Powell and wife Tiffany, Amanda Gay and husband Mike, Tabitha Rippetoe and husband Max, all of Amarillo; 23 great grandchildren; and a sister, Donia Woods and husband Don of Olney. The family would like to express their gratitude for the care that Alvin received at Pampa Nursing Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Briarwood Church, 1800 W.
