Eunice McMillan, 92, of Pampa, died February 15, 2015 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. McMillan was born June 29, 1922 in Williamsburg, Virginia, to William and Virginia Austin New. She married Cecil O. McMillan on July 20, 1946 at First Baptist Church in Amarillo. He preceded her in death on May 12, 2003. Eunice worked for First National Bank for more 35 years where she held several positions, including being one of the first female loan officers. She was a long time and dedicated member of Central Baptist Church. She volunteered at Coronado Healthcare Center for more than 30 years and had cared for countless people in their homes, ensuring they had everything they needed, including spiritual support. Eunice was a dear friend to all she knew. She served everyone with a servant’s heart. Eunice was preceded in death by her son, Larry McMillan. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Dana McMillan of Ardmore, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Kim Lynch and husband Robert of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Keith McMillan and wife Becky of Holcomb, Kansas; Brian McMillan and wife Debbie, Charlie Thrasher and wife Misty, Audra Coburn and Kelly Thrasher, all of Amarillo; 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
