Toddy William Black, 59, of Enid, Oklahoma, died February 26, 2015 in Pampa, Texas. Celebration of life services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Central Baptist Church in Pampa, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. Black was born December 23, 1955 in Pampa. He attended Pampa schools and was a 1974 graduate of Pampa High School where he was a standout shortstop for the Harvester baseball team. Toddy married Kathy Cudney on February 19, 1982 in Pampa. He was co-owner and operator of Black’s Painting and Sandblasting in Pampa. For the past ten years, Toddy resided in Enid, Oklahoma where he was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. More than anything, Toddy loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He dedicated his life to his family, including his two dogs, Tucker and Mandy. Toddy was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed playing golf with his son, Ryan, and watching college football. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Black of the home; his son, Ryan Black and wife Julie of Enid, Oklahoma; his father, Tom Black of Pampa; his mother, Sharon Black of Arlington; his sister, Teresa Arnold and husband Todd of Arlington; mother-in-law, Peggy Williams and husband D. P. of Pampa; brother-in-law, Gary Cudney and wife Gaye of Amarillo; and three nephews, Erik Black of Arlington, and Colby Cudney and Corey Cudney, both of Amarillo.
