Mary White

November 25, 1926 — February 28, 2015

Mary White, 88, went to her heavenly home on February 28, 2015 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Services to celebrate memories of Mary’s life will be at 10:00 AM Friday, March 6, 2015, at the Lefors Church of Christ in Lefors, Texas, with Gene Gee, minister, officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Height Cemetery in Lefors, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa, Texas. Mary White was born November 25, 1926 in Haskell County, Texas. She was the 7th child of Effie May Morrison. Her mother passed away when she was 3 and she was raised by her oldest sister and husband, Velma and Audry Mansker. Their 3 children became brothers and sisters to Mary. Although raised in the great depression, the family farm provided the family with food and also hard work. She remembers riding on a cotton sack while her Mama picked the cotton. Her older brothers and sisters spoiled her, but she learned to work hard and was a very industrious and dedicated homemaker. Mary also loved to play cards and dominoes with her family whenever they would get together. She married Ben White on August 28, 1943. They were happily married for 54 years until his death in 1998. They raised 5 children and taught them to be honest, hardworking and dedicated to their families. Mary was met in heaven by her husband Ben; a daughter, Beverly Fulton; two grandsons, Justin and Paul Lambert; a granddaughter, Christy Leah Lynch; and many other members of her extended family. She is survived by four children, Joy Lambert and husband Dennis of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Bennie Lynch and husband Bill of Blanchard, Oklahoma, David White and wife Connie of Bowie, Texas, and Phil White and wife Connie of Wichita, Kansas; a sister, Betty Johnson of Slaton Texas, a brother, Robert Mansker of Lubbock, Texas; eight grandchildren, J. Lee Fulton, Marianne Jones, Joel Sudbury, Bill Lynch, Rory Lynch, Jeannie Baker, Scott White and Brooke Krause; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Memorials may be made to Russell Murray Hospice, 202 N. Main, Kingfisher, Oklahoma 73750
