James Clifford Schoonover, Sr.

James Clifford Schoonover Sr., 83, of Pampa, died March 7, 2015 in Pampa. Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Briarwood Church with Rev. Ben Corbitt, pastor of United Pentecostal Church, officiating. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Schoonover was born May 12, 1931 in Meridian, Texas. He was a US Army veteran serving from 1948 until 1956. He was a member of United Pentecostal Church for over 40 years. He married Margot Milke on August 11, 1955 in Wetzlar, Germany. He is survived by his wife; Margot of the home. Son; Jim Schoonover of Pampa; Daughter; Carolyn Valerie Lovelady of Pampa; Son; Terry Lynn Schoonover of Ham Lake, MN; Son; James Clifford Schoonover, Jr. of Fayetteville, AR. Two brothers; Belvin Ahlsted of Burleson, TX and Sonny Wallace of Waco, TX; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
