Robert Shawn Bruce

Robert Shawn Bruce, 39, of Pampa, died Sunday, March 15, 2015, in Pampa. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Briarwood Church with Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Robert was born Aug. 11, 1975 in Pampa where he was a lifelong resident, and he attended Pampa schools. He married Kristi Cotton on Nov. 21, 2014 in Pampa. Robert loved riding motorcycles, fishing, and caring for his “four-legged family.” He was a member of Briarwood Church. Survivors include his wife, Kristi Bruce, of the home; his grandfather, Robert Bruce of Midland; a sister, Kaye Keese and husband Sid of Alanreed; a brother, Paul Bruce and wife Sarah of Canyon; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cora and Gary Cotton of Ozark, Missouri; an aunt, Sandy Bethune of Midland; and by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Robert was preceded in death by his stepmother, Faye Bruce, in 1998, his father, Robert Bruce, in 2010, and his grandmother, Anita Bruce, in 2003. Memorials may be made to Eric D.
