Luis Rodriguez, 61, of Pampa, died March 17, 2015 in Pampa. Vigil will be at 6:00 PM Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Christopher Schwind, associate pastor of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, officiating. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM Friday, March 20, 2015, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Rodriguez was born March 11, 1954 in Las Yescas. He had been a resident of Pampa since 2000. Luis married Gloria Castro on July 4, 2004. He worked for Allsup’s for five years, Coronado Center for five years, and was currently working for Doug Boyd Motor Company. Luis was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Roman Rodriguez; a brother, Francisco Rodriguez; and a sister, Romana Rodriguez. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Rodriguez of the home; two daughters, Irma Rodriguez and Veronica Robledo and husband Martin, all of Memphis; seven sons, Luis Rodriguez, Jr. and wife Olga of Crosbyton, Fabian Rodriguez and wife Kayla, Jonathan Rodriguez and wife Cassandra, and Benjamin Rodriguez and wife Wendy, all of Pampa, Steven Rodriguez and wife Tabatha of Lubbock, Matthew Rodriguez and wife Carmen of Altus, Oklahoma, and Abel Rodriguez and wife Angie of Cleburne; his mother, Lucia Rodriguez of Memphis; 34 grandchildren; four brothers and five sisters.
