Danny Howard

Danny Howard, 64, of Miami, died Friday, March 27, 2015, in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Trinity Fellowship Church in Pampa with Pastor Lonny Robbins officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Darrouzett Cemetery. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Danny was born April 7, 1950 in Perryton to Roy and Fern Howard. He was a 1968 graduate of Darrouzett High School and received his bachelor’s degree from West Texas State University in Canyon in 1972. He married Debbie Terrel on Aug. 28, 1969 in Follett. Danny spent his professional career teaching and banking, and for the past 27 years, he was vice-president of First State Bank of Miami which is now Aim Bank. He was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church in Pampa. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Howard, of the home; four sons, Devin Howard and wife Kenna of Wheeler, Dayne Howard and wife Monica of Pampa, Dustin Howard and wife Carlee of Mansfield, and Derek Howard and wife Lisa of Miami; his mother, Fern Howard of Darrouzett; two brothers, Billy Howard of Logan, OK and Terry Howard of Plains; a sister, Royal Ward and husband John of Azle; and twelve grandchildren, Cody, Kori, Daniel, Daulton, Chris, Miguel, Marco, Colt, Gatlyn, Addison, Daigen, and Dawson. Danny was preceded in death by his father, Roy, and two brothers, Donnie and Derrick.
