Robert (Bob) Johnson, 92, of Pampa, died March 30, 2015 in Pampa. Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 2, 2015, at First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Dr. Ran Loy, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Bob was born November 29, 1922 in Portland, Oregon to Gale and Flora Marie Johnson. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and was discharged in 1946 with the rank of Major. He received an Engineering degree from Oregon State University in 1950. Bob was employed for thirty years by Cabot Corp. as an engineer. After retiring from Cabot in 1982, he opened an engineering firm which he operated for approximately ten years. He was a former member of Rotary Club and was a member of First United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir for many years, was a former member of United Methodist Men and a recent member of the Koinonia Sunday School class. Bob enjoyed playing golf and vacationing at the Cabot Ranch in Stonewall, Colorado where he and his family enjoyed many happy family reunions. He especially enjoyed the Friday night Poker Club which he hosted after his friend Curt Beck passed away. Survivors include his wife, Pat of the home; one son, Grant Johnson of Victoria; one daughter, Laura Smith of Little Rock, Arkansas; two stepsons, Larry McDonald of Dickinson, North Dakota, and David McDonald of Panhandle; one grandson, T.K. Farris of Fort Worth; six granddaughters, Maggie Johnson and Katie Johnson, both of Victoria, Logan McDonald and Cameron McDonald, both of Lubbock, Jennifer Bingham and husband Brad of Irving, and Hailey Bohanan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one great grandson, Liam Bohanan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and one great granddaughter, Emily Bingham of Irving.
