Bernice "Bea" Boeckel

Bernice “Bea” Boeckel, 83, of Pampa, died April 9, 2015 in Canadian. Graveside services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Miami Cemetery, with Rev. Donald Hill, pastor of River Ministries in Canadian, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Boeckel was born May 27, 1931 in Napoleon, North Dakota. She married Robert “Bob” Boeckel on February 25, 1948 in Hardin, Montana. He preceded her in death on July 10, 2001. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1985. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship, was a volunteer with the Pampa Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, and was a member of the Pampa Senior Citizens Center. Bernice was also preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Magdalena Lachenmeier; and a brother, Lloyd Lachenmeier. Survivors include a daughter, Jo Anne Wheeler and husband Tommie of Canadian; a sister, Violet Salveson of Billings, Montana; six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
