Pedro Solorzano

Pedro Solorzano, 55, of Pampa, died April 9, 2015 in Pampa. Vigil will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, April 10, 2015 at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with Rev. Christopher Schwind, associate pastor, officiating. Memorial funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 11, 2015 at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Solorzano was born January 28, 1960 in Durango, Mexico. He married Nora Arjona on February 17, 1981 in Floydada. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Pedro will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather, and was a friend to everyone he met. Survivors include his wife, Nora Solorzano of the home; a son, Petey Solorzano, Jr., & wife Christy of Pampa; four daughters, Amy Foster and husband Jose, Natalie Arriola, Laura Davis and husband Eric, and Veronica Claar and husband Ricky, all of Pampa; his mother, Maria de la Luz Dominguez Vital of Mexico; four brothers, Gervasio, Aurelio, Amado and Victor Solorzano Vital; three sisters, Marcelina, Lucia and Maria Solorzano Vital; 11 grandchildren, Braden, Haylee and Leven Arriola, Nathan and Bryanna Solorzano, Neveah, Autumn and Rori Davis, and Gabriella, Joel and Ariel Foster; numerous nieces and nephews; special brothers-in-law: Joey, Jessie and Johnny Arjona; and special sisters-in-law, Nellie Riojas and Velma Rodriguez.
