James Frank Heare

James Frank Heare, 84, of Miami, died April 13, 2015 in Miami. Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 16, 2015, at the United Methodist Church in Miami, with Dr. Lewis Holland, Methodist minister, and Rev. Anthony Inman, pastor of United Methodist Church of Miami, officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Cemetery with Masonic rites courtesy of Miami Masonic Lodge #805 AF&AM. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Heare was born August 27, 1930 on the family farm in Roberts County to Bernice and Annie Faye Heare. He was reared in Miami, graduating from Miami High School in 1949. Frank married Marian Ray on January 8, 1949. He later married Evelyn Guill on July 27, 1969 in Miami. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Miami Masonic Lodge #805 AF&AM for 60 years, and the Miami Lions Club. Frank was a farmer. He worked for Cabot Corporation for 27 ½ years and also for Phillips for 4 years. Frank was preceded in death by his daughter, Terry Kay Keeling, three sisters and three brothers. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Heare of the home; son, Steven Heare of Pampa; son-in-law, Jimmy Keeling of Canyon; stepson, Gary Guill and wife Katie, of Amarillo; three stepdaughters, Anita Haiduk and husband LeRoy of White Deer, Rita Tregellas and husband Bill Mac of Perryton, and Leeann Heard of Pampa; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church, PO Box 248, Miami, Texas 79059. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home.
