Margarita Apodaca

Margarita Apodaca, 42, of Pampa, died April 15, 2015, in Pampa. Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, April 17, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Florentino Gracia, officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Apodaca was born October 18, 1972 in Durango, Mexico. She graduated from Wheeler High School in 1992. She married Marcos Apodaca on April 16, 1994. Margarita was a member of the Jehovah Witness Spanish congregation. She loved to cook, spend time with her family and being outdoors. She was always considerate and caring of others. Margarita was preceded in death by her parents, Natividad and Rosario Meraz. Survivors include her husband, Marcos Apodaca of the home; two daughters, Bianca Apodaca and Monica Apodaca, both of Pampa; a son, Marcos Apodaca of Pampa; a sister, Maria Copado and husband Alberto of Pampa; five brothers, Genaro Meraz and wife Teresa of Kyle, Ciriaco Meraz of Wheeler, Saul Meraz and wife Cindy of Ohio, Ramon Meraz and wife Christina of Amarillo, and Jose Meraz of Perryton; two granddaughters, Ariana Benitez and Naomi Benitez. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
