Jackie F. Rogers

Jackie F. Rogers, 86, of Pampa, died April 29, 2015 in Denton. Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev Rick Parnell, associate pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Rogers was born August 26, 1928 in Groom. Jackie married John Rogers on May 26, 1973 in Pampa. She was a lifelong Pampa area resident. Jackie was a bookkeeper for First National Bank for 16 years. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church and was a volunteer for the Pampa Meals on Wheels and Coronado Healthcare Center. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Bertha Patton and a son Ricky Don Mills. Survivors include her husband, John Rogers of the home; three daughters, Ladella Perry and husband Dennis and Pamelia Costner all of Sanger and Nancy Mauck and husband James of Tioga; a sister Arline Lesher of Sweeny; a nephew Rodney Lesher of Sweeny; a niece Cynthia Lesher of Sweeny; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
