Barbara Ann Revious Baird passed from this world on May 2, 2015 at 3:39 P.M. There will be a private family graveside at Fairview Cemetery. The service will be held by Pastor Mike Watson, minister of the Hobart Street Baptist Church, Pampa. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Barbara was born on January 10, 1939 in Wheeler to Coy and Tressa Revious. She attended schools in Wheeler, where she graduated from Wheeler High School in 1957. She worked in Wheeler as a typist for the Abstract Companies and the Wheeler Times. She married Alvis Ferrell Baird on June 4, 1958 and they later moved to Mobeetie, where she worked for First State Bank of Mobeetie. In October of 1959, they moved to Pampa, where they raised their family. She worked for an accountant from 1973- 1975, then she worked for the Pampa Independent School District from 1975 until her retirement in 1992. Barbara was a member of Hobart Baptist Church. Barbara was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She ran the race, she fought the good fight, and she kept the faith. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Tressa Revious 1987 and 1989, ad by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Douglas and Oreta Baird. She is survived by her husband of the home, Alvis Ferrell Baird; two daughters, Tambra Rogers and husband J.T., Jr. of Pampa, and Theresa Conner and husband Ray of Crowley; a son, Rick Baird and wife Lisa of Pampa; 5 grandsons, John “Trey” Rogers III and wife Gina of Port Lavaca, Hal Rogers and fiancée Jenny of Lubbock, Heath Conner and wife Katie of Midland, Jesse Conner and wife Megan of Snyder and Aaron Baird of Amarillo, seven great-grandchildren, Clayton, Carson, and Allie Rogers of Port Lavaca, Talynn Conner of Snyder, Sonny Kane Conner of Midland, Aubrie Garza and Bentley Darden, both of Pampa. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Texas Oncology-Amarillo Cancer Center, 1000 S. Coulter, Suite 100, Amarillo, TX 79106, Pampa Nursing Center, 1321 W. Kentucky, Pampa, Texas 79065 or Interim Hospice, 2217 Perryton Parkway, Pampa, Texas 79065. Special notice: family will receive friends from 6:00- 7:30 Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the funeral home.
