Gary D. Wainscott, Sr.

Gary D. Wainscott, Sr., 61, of Pampa, died May 26, 2015 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, May 29, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Jimmy Bennett, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Wainscott was born January 27, 1954 in Villa Platte, Louisiana. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1956. He retired from the maintenance department with Pampa Independent School District in 2008 after 20 years of service. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Odie and Anna Wainscott. Survivors include two sons, Gary Dale Wainscott, Jr. and Don Wainscott, both of Pampa; a brother, Larry Wainscott of Lefors; three grandchildren, Dillon Wainscott, Aliceson Wainscott and Briley Wainscott.
