Paulette Watkins, 56, of Gruver, died Friday, May 29, 2015, in Lubbock. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Skellytown with Rev. Gary Gumfory, pastor of First Christian Church in Gruver, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Pampa under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Paulette was born Nov. 13, 1958 in Pampa to Paul and Charlene Boissenet of Skellytown. She attended schools in Skellytown, White Deer, and Frank Phillips College in Borger. She married Steve Watkins on Oct. 22, 1976 in White Deer. She had been a resident of Gruver since 1979. Paulette was a homemaker who enjoyed being a florist, crocheting, china painting, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Gruver. Paulette was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie and Oleta Ruff and Floyd and Edith Boissenet. Survivors include her husband, Steve Watkins of the home; a son, Nathan Watkins of Amarillo; her parents, Paul “Tink” and Charlene Boissenet of Skellytown; a brother, Charlie Paul Boissenet of Texas City; a daughter-in-law, Jacinda Perez of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Kayden and Khloe Watkins, both of Amarillo; two nephews, Chuck Boissenet and wife Belinda and Erik Boissenet and wife Kensey, all of Amarillo, and a great nephew, Leif Boissenet, of Amarillo.
