Leona Frances Glover, 96, of Frisco and formerly of Pampa, died Friday, June 12, 2015, in Frisco. Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday at Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Pampa with Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor of Central Baptist Church in Pampa, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Glover was born July 30, 1918 in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. She was a resident of Pampa since 1929 before moving to the Dallas area in 2002 to be close to family. Leona married Tom Glover on June 10, 1940 in Ada, Oklahoma, and they were married for 68 years until his death in 2008. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Pampa. Leona was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Gracie Sexton, and three brothers, Melvin, Carl, and Dale Sexton. Survivors include two sons, DeWayne Glover and wife Janie and Jerry Glover; a sister, Juanita Cox; a brother, Jim Sexton; four grandchildren, Debi Means and husband Michael, Julie Hobert, Tiffany Glover, and Tammy Glover; and six great grandchildren, Samantha, Emily, Bradley, Abigail, Chelsea, and Kennedy. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, 513 E. Francis, Pampa, TX 79065 or a charity of choice.
